Biography of Television Actress Anupriya Kapoor (Taani) of Tere Liye

Anupriya Kapoor started her television career little more than a year ago. She played cameo’s role (Suhaani Shergill) in Star One’s all time popular show Miley Jab Hum Tum. Later she also started to work with Ekta Kapoor in Bayttab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai but later she pulled herself out saying her role was not good. But fortunately for both Ekta Kapoor and Anupriya Kapoor they came together again in Tere Liye. Anupriya Kapoor is currently playing the lead role of Taani in Star Plus super hit Tere Liye.

Anupriya Kapoor is from Punjab and moved to Mumbai with brother Vyom Kapoor when he participated in Voice of India. In her young age before moving into acting she assisted Gajendra Singh in Voice of India, Waar-Parivar and Junoon. Anupriya Kapoor was working as senior executive producer in Gajendra Singh’s team.

Anupriya Kapoor is still in very initial days of her career. In acting it is always so important to get good roles. She did not get satisfactory role in Miley Jab Hum Tum and again not impressive role in Ekta Kapoor’s Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai of Sony TV, she had to quit the show and because of that her relationship with Ekta Kapoor strained. And later that show became a big failure and shutdown in less than six months, and it was a big loss for Sony TV as they spent around Rs. 50 million for promos of this series.
But for everyone’s good Ekta Kapoor and Anupriya Kapoor came together to give mega hit Tere Liye. So it took 1 year for her to get to lead role and I should say she is doing awesome job. There were lots of expectation from her because Tere Liye with Harshad Chopra in lead role was given lot of hype but she is doing total justification to her role and career.
As she is from Punjab it is becoming a challenge for Anupriya Kapoor to play the role of Bengali girl. Anupriya Kapoor and Harshad Chopra had to undergo some bengali classes as they have to speak in bengali on many occasions. And as far as Harshad Chopra and Anupriya Kapoor’s onscreen chemistry is concerned it is already well received by viewers and it is already a hit.
Earlier, she was also seen in Sssshh.. Phir Koi Hai.

Story of Tere Liye:
Tere Liye a love story between Taani (real name: Anupriya Kapoor) and Anurag (real name: Harshad Chopra). The show’s telecast started on June 14th this year. The show started with school going Taani and Anurag, the story is based in Kolkata, it showed the ups and downs of the relationship between Taani and Anurag. Then it was shown that Taani (Anupriya Kapoor) and Anurag (Harshad Chopra) got separated and Anurag goes to U.S. and Taani moves out of Kolkata. Then it took a 8 year leap and Harshad Chopra comes back to Kolkata and at the same time Anupriya Kapoor also comes to Kolkata and they meet and the show is rocking!!

Arhaan born in Ajmer did his early schooling in Ajmer and then moved to Noida to continue his studies. He did his graduation in commerce. He was always interested in acting and was very clear about what he wants to become. In school itself he participated in many dramas and plays. As a first concrete step towards his goal he joined acting institute of Kishore Namit Kapoor.
Arhaan Behl came down to Mumbai for audition of Pratigya, as he got selected he decided to stay in Mumbai itself, in fact he loves to call himself as Mumbaikar as he loves the lifestyle of people of Mumbai. Currently he stays in Bandra in Mumbai.
When Arhaan Behl decided to take acting as career just like many other parents his parents too were really concerned but now they are happy and enjoying the success of Pratigya serial.

Arhaan Behl Career:
Currently playing main lead role in Star Plus super hit serial Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. Arhaan role in Pratigya became so popular that many people know him only by the name of Krishna and does not know his real name.
Mann ki Awaaz Pratigya is his first appearance on TV. Though Arhaan Behl is not even a year old in TV world, he has already won quite a few awards and recognition. In 2010 Star Parivaar Awards he won Favourite Naya Sadasya- Male, in the same awards he won the following awards as well - Sabse Khoobsurat Rishta with Sajjan Singh(Father-Son) and Hottest Jodi with Pooja Gaur as Pratigya. In New Talent Awards 2010 he won Most Promising New Talent of Tomorrow male.
His jodi with Pratigya (real name Pooja Gaur) is the super hit jodi of Indian television today. Though this show is not at very prime time people do stay awake and watch it, this shows how big a hit it is. The success of Pratigya serial is clearly seen on the streets and college, many college goers wants to dress like Krishna!!
