Rahil Azam is a software engineer from Bangalore who moved into acting. When he decided to take acting as career he joined Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting classes and slowly made a place for himself. He is 6 feet tall and suited well for the role of Hatim. Rahil Azam is god-fearing person who respects his parents a lot.

Rahil Azam has acted in quite a few serials and shows. He became popular for his role in Star Plus’ show Hatim. He was the main lead of this action, adventure, & drama show which ran successfully for one year in 2004. Hatim was about an Arab prince Hatim Tai, a pre-Mohammad era Christian from Yemen. Hatim won lots of awards like best costumes, best visual effects etc.,
Later he played the lead role in Star Plus’ ‘Princess Dollie Aur Uska Magic Bag’, in this again Rahil Azam played the role of Hatim. It was said that it was a partial remake of Disney’s The Princess Diaries.
His role in Resham Dankh of Star One was also appreciated a lot. His jodi with Mauli Ganguly was liked by many. Resham Dankh was a story of a super successful business tycoon with a happy life at home. Resham Dankh revolves around the moments of happiness surrounding Aditya’s life, his indomitable love for Dev and the trials and tribulations of his family. Rahil Azam played the lead role in this serial.
Ye Meri Life Hai of Sony TV is another serial in which Rahil Azam was seen. His cameo as Ashmit Patel was certainly liked by many.
His other serials include Ek Tukda Chand Ka, Rahil Azam played a romantic boy in the soap Ek Tukda Chand Ka, and then he appeared as the angry young man for the afternoon soap Bhabhi.
Rahil Azam can be seen in lead role in upcoming serial Gulaal. Gulaal will be replacing Bidaai to take prime time slot on Star Plus. Gulaal is tentatively scheduled to go on air by mid of November. Along with Mansi Parekh, Rahil Azam is expected to create great chemistry as it is going to be a love story.
