Family background and brief biography of Ankita Lokhande:
She is from a Maharashtrian family. She born and brought up in Indore. When she decided to take acting as career her parents were quite reluctant but she succeeded in convincing them and later started getting support from them. She moved to Mumbai in year 2005 but she got big break only in June 2009 in Pavitra Rishta.
She is a high quality dancer. Some time last year she performed on Zee TV‘s live show and I think her fans won’t forget it for long time (I have attached that video at the bottom of this page). Many times because of her decent acting, people say she is Vidya Balan of small screen. Many times we see that small screen actors lack fun part (at least that’s the perception) but Ankita Lokhande is filled with fun, a sample of her sense of humor can be seen in one of the video below.
She became popular when she took up the lead role in Zee TV’s number one serial Pavitra Rishta. In this top serial she plays a role of Archana Deshmukh. She grabbed this opportunity with both the hands and proved that she is an excellent actress with lot of temperament. This show is one year old now but still gaining popularity and Ankita is definitely main reason for that. In this show her partner is Sushant Singh who acted in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil before Pavitra Rishta.
Recently many press reports talked about Ankita’s relationship with Sushant and claimed that they are in love in real life as well. Though they did not say anything in that regard, this couple made enough statements to give press a chance to speak. Is it real love or publicity funda we don’t know yet.

As that was not for the lead role Ankita Lokhande do not regret for it.

Story of Pavitra Rishta:
Pavitra Rishta started as a story of mother daughter relationship and how much a mother cares when it comes to daughter’s alliance and marriage. Anyone from middle class can feel the story and relate himself/herself in some way. Pavitra Rishta’s story mainly revolves around Archana (Ankita Lokhande) who is not highly educated but knows how to handle household stuff. Archana’s mother wants her to get married to a well settled person with good income.
Simultaneously other track shows the life of Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) who is a garage owner. Manav happens to see Archana and falls in love with her. Because of Archana’s family’s wish Manav family lies that Manav is a mechanical engineer and draws good salary and marriage takes place. Soon Archana finds the truth and at the same time many greedy people starts inserting misunderstandings. So Manav’s and Archana’s relationship goes for the toss and situation only gets worsened with time. But this couple is made for each other so I am sure they will come together.
